Therapy groups are an effective means of treatment. Clients are encouraged to think, asked to explore their feelings, and to make behavioral changes. Groups tend to be very powerful due to group members ability to not only share common experiences, but to gain momentum through each other's combined energy.

GROUP SIZE - The number of people in a group varies from 4-10 people depending on the type of group. 

 

COSTS - Most insurances will cover the cost of group (billing is available). Discounts are available if you pre-pay entire amount when you register.

 

 

 

Couples Communication Skills I & II 

Part I - You and your partner learn to: (1) communicate together more effectively, (2) make better decisions together, (3) create faster, better resolutions to conflict, and (4) increase satisfaction as you strengthen your relationship.

Part II — You and your partner learn to: (1) develop greater ability to use skills for bridging to one another, (2) make more mutually satisfying decisions, (3) enjoy deeper intimacy, and (4) build a more committed and confident future together.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

The adult groups sometimes includes another significant adult (spouse, adult child, etc.) to learn how to decrease life interfering behaviors, to learn mindfulness skills, emotions regulations, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, how to do chain analysis, and validation skills.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adolescent Girls' DBT Group sometimes includes a parent.
